I sold about 40% of my holdings in the mid-37's (bought in the low 11's so not too bad) and if it gets back over $38 I should be selling another 30%. I agree JHam that the big numbers do need to slow down. Lots of comparisons on Twitter to $LVGO but that might be more hopeful than reality. Wow, nice job on a 200%+ profit! Smart to keep some though cause who knows what will happen. But at least you locked in a great profit. Yeah, people are naturally going to compare OTRK with LVGO, but I don’t think it is that simple.

This is now by far my largest holding for stocks tracked on this board. I have only sold a small percentage of shares when it went over $30 but today it went to almost $39 and August 5 is their Q2 earnings call. It looks like there is over 50% short interest which scares me based on the amount of money I now have in this stock. I am looking to shed some shares this week, but plan to keep the majority of my shares. What are other holders plans heading into next week? Congrats to your big profit here, lcd. I would definitely lock in profits like you did. Taking out some risks is good after these perfect gains. Yes, it could go straight to $50. But will it be so easy? I doubt it. I also don't believe that shortsellers will simply give up here. If Culper publishes again a report, regardless of the allegations being true or not, the stock could go down massively. I would not take this risk. There must be a reason that shortsellers have not covered yet. Let me remember you guys, how terrible the last ER and conference call for shareholders was. The concerns from Jham are also valid and i have not yet heard an answer about that. That being sad, i will also sell my shares tomorrow or in the next days and secure my profits.

The pps went back over $38 so I sold about 85% of my shares. I feel much better going into next week now. I will definitely look to re-enter if the earnings report looks good and the shorts still have their way, but for now I am sitting on some cash. I will probably add $TWTR which is my new go-to long term tech stock.

Selling at the highest possible price is wishful thinking. We have no crystal ball...

Great numbers continue from OTRK. I still think that at some point in the future it will start to slow down with the current business model, but what do I know. I still don’t feel bad selling because there are so many other great opportunities as well right now in the market.

I sold my remaining shares this morning. Revenue looks great and they are probably getting some more stable investors now, but I still thinks short interest holders will have their day. If this was a biotech stock, we would definitely see a capital raise in the next day or two. I still won't be surprised if there is one.

Thanks! Buying around $11 and selling just under $50 sure makes me feel better about some other stocks I have owned on this board that went in the other direction.

Just because you started the board doesn't mean anyone holds you responsible for their investment decisions. I have a long history of holding stocks too long after there are indicators I should sell. I am looking at you ONCS and KTOV.

Does anyone know where to find more recent short interest? I am impressed with share price performance today. Since there was 50% short interest yesterday, I suspect a good number of those positions closed at a loss today.

Part of the “transition” to this board was also to help grow new investing/trading styles. I felt with the old boards, which this one was born out of, that the majority of members (including me) were simply buying stocks with promising long term potential and just sitting in them forever. That may work for some, but in my experience it was usually met with a high risk low reward outcome. I’m not a trader by any means, but for the most part these days I have much more courage to get in and out. Even if I don’t sell at the ultimate high.

I agree that sharing trading strategies is a key difference between this board and previous ones we have been on. Looking all the way back to ACTC, the only people who made money on that stock were the ones who traded in and out of it, but I remember other investors on those boards strongly condemning those who sold out as being traitors to the cause.

Yeah, those were the days, lol. Well, Catasys is now a billion dollar stock 😱
