For once my sell early plan worked out reasonably well. The price did briefly jump over $8.40 minutes before pre-market ended but I still got out with a nice 40%+ profit. I will keep tracking this stock because I think it could be a disruptive technology, but they just seem to struggle to get their foot in the door. Wow, nice job! Could have sold for a lot more last summer but can't complain about this one...until it quadruples in price next week.

DYAI getting some action in pre-market this AM. No news that I can see. I hope it's something substantial with sticking power this time.

As usual a flash in the pan PR. I still think there will be a paradigm change in biologic drug production once this methodology proves all the way out through human trials. What's it worth.......I don't really know.

I do think this company still has great potential and this is another example where they are licensing their product so they don't incur the huge debt and/or new shelf offerings that other biotechs must. I hope this works out for Dyadic. I was just reading a new study showing that Pfizer, and to a lesser extent Moderna, are much less effective at stopping the transmission of the delta variant. The world needs more vaccines.

Without doing the research on these viruses then we probably wouldn’t know enough about them to ramp a vaccine in less than a year. But yeah, point well taken.

I don't disagree, but when humans are involved there's the inevitability of errors. ie: Space Shuttle Challenger, Apollo 13............and these guys are rocket scientist!! You make the wrong error with molecular viral pathogens and you have screwed the pooch! Oh well, we've made it this far, I do have faith we'll keep on keeping on.

The summary of the study is below and to caution any pessimism about the vaccination, it does still seem to be very effective at reducing hospitalizations and death, but maybe not so much for transmission. It sounds like there is some uncertainty if this is due the delta or the durability of the vaccine over time.
