Its almost certain than this top 10, fortune 100 company is CVS Pharmacies, which ranks #6. Walmart is more of a shopping center that happens to have a pharmacy, so I don't think its that.
Remember when I talked about how a whole shitload of jobs were getting posted for the state of PA, in that it resembled more of a logistics front?
They're posting jobs yet again for a dozens of PA cities all over, so its likely that this is tied in with this contract.
The state of PA is big in warehousing operations, so I was correct in believing that something big could be going down there, as we only list something like one employee living in that area. In other words, the slew of job postings all over PA made little sense unless something big was about to go down, which we now know is a fact with a company like CVS.
Congrats to those that hold this.
I live in south central PA. While I can't speak to CVS, I know Rite Aid is based here, and has a very large warehouse presence. Great to see things moving for Verses!
They're partnered with Simwell, which deals with the digital twin, and it looks like they have offices in the Pittsburgh region. The two companies will be working on this monster project.
In general though, the state of PA has a LOT of warehouses, so it could be anything, but the deal itself is definitely for CVS as they rank top ten on the Fortune 100, with the updated ranking at #6. Their revenues are about a thousand times greater than that of NRI. It looks like at least one of their huge distribution centers is in western PA.

This seems to be gaining some traction. I grabbed a few shares awhile ago as a gamble on the growing field of AI. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.

12% bump today with decent volume. Somebody's buying what they're selling?? Fireside chat coming up tomorrow between Verses' Karl Friston and Meta's Yann Lecun. Supposed to see plenty of coverage from Financial Times, CNBC, etc. Its also believed that they will announce the start of their developer program, starting with companies like Volvo, Nasa, etc.

G42 just announced the creation of Analog at the conference in Davos, which will work on major projects in the capital city of Dubai to help create smart city applications. Almost immediately following this news, Verses announced that they partnered with Analog. The company's AI software GENIUS will be used in mobility, healthcare, and energy use cases. Other big players that are a part of G42's work in Dubai include Microsoft and OpenAI, Astrazenica, Siemens, and others.

Ended up taking significant profits yesterday for a good majority of the shares as buying interest dried up. Will buy back those shares on any real pullback. GLTA

Bought back a load of shares on the dip, and glad that I did. Cost average is a little over a buck.
I listened to the company's webinar Thursday morning not expecting much, and was simply blown away. Whereas I was somewhat disappointed in last year's presentation to investors as I didn't fully understand what I was looking at, yesterday's presentation more than made up for it. Once the webinar becomes available online, I suggest everyone that follows AI companies check it out.

I had posted the following on IHUB, and thought I'd copy and paste it here for those interested in the company....
All of the so called AI out there will soon be completely obsolete. Granted, you'll still have some uses for it, but not much. What was Rene's remarks of shorting NVIDIA.... Nine months out? Sound about right. Even bigger, IMO, were his comments at the end about taking everyone out one by one this year. Everything about the monolithic, black box approach to AI was simply a poor design built from the top down, and yet all of these developers took it and ran with it like it was the next big thing. Countless billions have been poured into it, and yet instead of seeing an actual viable product come from it, we're continuing to see all of the major flaws with this approach, and by flaws I mean flaws that lead to major lawsuits. Gemeni's flaws around bias are my latest favorite, as they paint the founding fathers of America as being Asian, vikings as Native Americans, and Nazis as black. The pure wokeness BS has come full circle, and these developers will pay the price as they've pushed their agendas too far. Verses not only has the answer with its active inference approach to AI and distributed intelligence, but it also doesn't require begging the worldwide investment community for seven TRILLION in funding new chip foundries and power plants, as this distributed intelligence isn't power hungry, and AI agents can literally be trained on a single standard laptop, where eventually every human soul with basic computing skills will be able to train their very own agents, while businesses and government bodies will have agents trained for their enterprise and data related purposes. All of the companies focused on generative AI and LLMs are about to have their early morning, cock-a-doodle-do wakeup call, as Verses is about to call them to the table for these "games", to prove that they not only have a much more viable path for intelligent agents, but also one that's explainable, and isn't pre-trained on everyone else's data, and can actually learn on the go, sharing intelligence with other agents within the agency. As investors we saw it first hand, and were blown away by what we were witnessing. If I were a so called "competitor", I'd be frantically trying to call them up to close a deal and partnership, or else I'd have to play dirty games to keep the whole LLM train of stupidity going. Given Rene's enthusiasm during the webcast, it shouldn't surprise anyone if they've already got it lined up and are working out the details. For the entire industry, they're now on the clock.

I want to be honest, this looks a little bit like a scam (I have no idea about the tech). I bought some shares nevertheless. IF it's a scam it will probably go up the most in the AI bubble! The CEO, Gabriel Rene, does give off a Gary Rabin vibe for me , but Dan Mapes seems more legit. I had a chat exchange with him on LinkedIn and he provided some input on how my company might leverage their product. I am skeptical of how VERSES tech can compete with bigger players. How can they prove that their approach to AI is superior to existing Generative AIs? Also, how can KOSM compete against AWS's Bedrock for building AI apps?
Still, I bought some speculative shares because if they do sign a big contract for Wayfinder or get some traction in the news, their pps could explode. Unfortunately, I bought my shares at way to high of a price and am already down 30% Based on this article from yesterday; nightmarketresearch.com/verses/, I should have trusted my gut that Gabriel Rene gives off a Gary Rabin vibe. If Verses doesn't come out with a public statement responding to this article then this company is likely dead.

At least with ACTC/OCATA I recouped my investment versus this one which will have to be written off more than likely. At least it was only a token purchase.
