Creating a general discussion thread here as I had no idea where to post this:
BCLI is quickly approaching its 200-day MA of $4.18/share. With the recent capital raise being done at $5.22/share and the most recent release of ALS trial results, I'm feeling very confident putting money to work here at these levels. I still hold a small position from pre-results release, but will likely add to it in the coming days.

I still hold a small stake, but am in no hurry to add at this time. I'm hoping there will be plenty of opportunities to re-enter before any news is apparently closer.

It's probably wise to have money elsewhere where there's near term catalysts on the horizon. I was very impressed with the results. Also, the fact they won't need to raise capital for quite some time is very attractive. We all know that it's not always the obvious event(s) that create immense value. I do think there is a risk of the PPS drifting for a bit, especially if they are quiet for the next few months. But I just can't imagine there's much downside from the $4 mark. Obviously I could be wrong...

Agreed that this one is a bargain if it falls into 3s but it may not attract enough interest to sustain the pps. That's the nature of penny stocks IMHO.

BCLI is on Nasdaq but it is still a micro cap.

At this point, and at the rate it is falling, I'll probably wait until he $3s again before considering adding again (even though I think anything in the $4s will be considered a good cost basis a couple years from now).

It's looking like this is the right way to play it. I'm somewhat surprised to see it fall back towards the $3's. I felt certain that this recent data release, coupled with their capital raise at a premium to the 10-day average PPS seemed to be a recipe for a higher floor (thought it would settle in the $4's). BCLI is now around a $60 million MC, which seems grossly undervalued (especially sitting on ~$25 million cash and with positive results on the street). If it dips below $4 today, I'm likely to add to my small position.

Was just coming here to post the same thing. I just spent all the money I was going to use to add to BCLI on more NRIFF, so it looks like I'll be waiting this one out a little longer. Am wanting to keep a decent amount of cash to jump on OCAT if the opportunity presents itself, otherwise I'd add to BCLI right now. BCLI is one I want a decent sized core position in to play the next 3-5 years.

Wow 3.8 already did people forget about the news or did I miss something lol. I knew it would decline but not still this fast at this PPS. Tempted to buy but will wait for resistance.

Forget all that talk I guess about deeper pockets investing in that last run-up. Seems like it was just a trader pump. At this rate I am wondering if we will test the low $3s again.

Haha... now that I have no cash, I kind of hope it does (even though I still own some shares). I can hopefully make some good money in Nuvo and Athersys over the next couple of months and move some profits over to my core BCLI position. I sure would love a cost basis of close to $3 (~ $45 million MC)

Looks like I bought at the exact perfect time this morning when it was -%. Got the full gain, Unfortunately it was very small position as I was only reestablishing position not sure if it would dip more. I'll wait for another dip before adding.

A very interesting Twitter exchange today between AF and Chaim Lebovits. First AF tweeted the following:
Adam Feuerstein (@adamfeuerstein) 1/26/15, 7:54 AM Chaim Lebovits is determined to undermine & destroy the credibility gains achieved for $BCLI by hiring Tony Fiorino as CEO. Shame.
Followed by a tweet from Lebovits that was along the lines of "What did I do to upset you Adam?", that was promptly deleted. In fact now AF's tweet is also deleted.
I think AF doesn't like Lebovits and I imagine that the beef today was about touting pre-clinical results as "exceptional". I can't disagree with that actually and believe what Adam was getting at is that it was probably a PR headline created by Lebovits, not Fiorino. Lebovits needs to to let Fiorino do his thing and stop trying to be the face of the company and participate in conference calls etc...

I doubled my tiny position here today at 3.90. Looking at the chart considering the data over the last 30 days and potential future catalysts. Still under the 200 day MA. I possibly should have waited until a bit lower but when I like a company I don't mind losing minimal amounts if I'm holding long to add - and of course getting in early doesn't mean for sure you will lose. I'm mostly tied up in NRI and ATHX but I'll keep my eyes on this one.

Has anyone thought about a strategy for trading the CUR data release in late Q1/early Q2? I imagine the results will have an effect on BCLI.

Honestly seems like a teeter totter to me and can go either way so I've got a small position in both right now. I expect my losses on one to be less than profits in other as they are both relatively low stock price currently.
