I am still digesting this news but one question that comes to mind is if it's wise to put my Ocata money into Astellas should this deal go through?
The science is still there and Astellas brings resources to the table that could finally get things moving. No more FDA and NIH red tape.
What are your thoughts?

I am very interested in the continuation of OCATA's science. I am starting to look at rolling over a portion in Astellas. Lots of questions. Looking forward to the discussion.

If you believe in the science still it's Probably worth looking into. I think many will have to reset expectations. Youre not going to get a "10 bagger" investing in a $30B company.

I very much agree. I never thought I would get a ten bagger with ACTC/OCAT. I feel fortunate for the incredible education I received owning this stock. I became a huge fan of stem cell research and have 'met' some very nice (and smart) people here. I will NEVER invest in another small cap biotech stock again! LOL

Not only will one not get a 10-bagger, one may be left holding the bag. What is to prevent Astellas from spinning off Ocata as an IPO post-acquisition and just before things really start to heat-up financially, all the while one is already holding Astellas shares in anticipation of financial nirvana, and can't get IPO shares? Buying Astellas now is no guarantee that one really benefits as a retail shareholder down the road. If this science is paradigm shifting, select clients and institutions get in on the ground floor being offered shares in an IPO. Paradigm changing, as in the blind can see, "blood-making made easy even a caveman can do it", and whatever else, and that IPO is rocketing in the blink of an eye, and you only watch or chase. Have a nice day! And don't forget to take your pills.
