CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing technology has started a revolution in molecular biology. Never before has a technology spread as quickly or had such a profound impact on biological research. The significance of efficient gene editing has been felt throughout biology, transforming research ranging from cancer biology to biorenewables to the management of disease vectors. This is only a 4 year old science and remains off the radar of most investors.

I bring attention to CRISPR-Cas9 editing though for the investors here on the Biotech Investor forum to make you aware of some recent developments in this potentially lucrative field. This Tuesday there will be oral arguments before the USPTO judges in DC in a far reaching patent case. I will be in attendance.
