Yeah, It's really sad. But Wylie opted not to have his restaurant operating in a demolition zone. The landlord is razing the entire block. Irony is that if it weren't for wd~50, that street would still be nothing but cheezy wedding stores, nail salons and bodegas. He created a new "restaurant row" by his presence on Clinton St. and now he is a casualty of the real estate value increases.

That is sad and totally ironic, I used to live on Clinton and Stanton during the "ghetto" days. I used to see drug deals on the street corner on a daily basis and my brother was even held up and at knifepoint in the elevator in our building! I went back their last Christmas for the first time in 10 years and could not believe how much it has changed. I am looking forward to seeing what Wylie has up his sleeve for his next venture.
