Patti, Sorry that you (and apparently others) feel that way. It seems that your complaint and the complaint of others is there are a handful of posters you don't like reading. I believe there is a really simple solution to that.. put them on ignore. I believe Jham wrote up how to do that in the a thread once, but Jham, maybe we could add it as a new thread in Forum Features? (http://thebiotechinvestor.freeforums.net/board/38/forum-features) I hope people that haven't posted here because of a few people will utilize that functionality and be part of the discussion rather than use their distaste for a few posters as a reason not to post. Why let a few bad apples spoil the bunch? I think everyone knows that Jham is trying to err on the side of allowing multiple viewpoints be heard and allowing grown-ups to discuss things like grown-ups. Not everyone is going to like what is posted and that is just how it will be in any forum. In regards to Hophead, he has been banned once for a week (the only person to be on this lenient site) and knows the rules and the ramifications if he continues to break them ( Two warnings will result in an automatic 1 week ban. The following works for putting posters on ignore: Hey guys, under your profile, edit profile settings, Privacy links, there is a "member block list" where you can search member names to add to a list. I have tried it and it works. When you put in a members name, it allows you several options and blocking their posts is one of them. So yes there is a way to ignore a poster if you want to. |

I also think Hophead's comments were not out of line to warrant an all out ban. He's provides a contrarian view to the board which is healthy for the discussion. Some people are not as eloquently as you are Mr. Jham and not everyone can expressed themselves with such finess. Join me in #weareallHopehead. I'm creating a poll for those interested. Thanks.

There are not that many rules here and its rather easy not to break them.. there really is absolutely no excuse for continuing to do it. He continues to CHOOSE to break them so I agree with the decision. Not only does it offend some members, it wastes jham's and others time having to edit them all the time.

I certainly don't mind Hop's point of view or his disdain for certain companies and management. But Hop is intentionally pushing the buttons of management here by simply pressing the wrongs keys on his electronic devices, no one is making him do it and he is not stupid. If it's an obsession, then he needs therapy.

One point was to get opinions as to why these guys attempted an offering and uplist when no catalysts were even on the horizon. No wonder no one was interested. It's mid may almost and no phase 2 even. There has been no benefit by being on nasdaq and the failed offering killed this stock. And the other point is to ask if these "managers" have any credibility left. They have none whatsoever imo... You know, you could have made your point by asking, "I'd like to get everyone's opinions as to why these guys attempted an offering and uplist when no catalysts were even on the horizon?" instead of <blah blah SCAM blah blah *censored* blah blah dumb blah blah clueless, etc. It would have been less incindiary. |
