3.9M shares at $4.25. About a 13% discount to today's opening price and the market likes it.

Closed at $5.61 today. Myself and I imagine others on this board were on the sidelines waiting for this to happen but that ended up being a mistake. Good for ADXS and anyone who stayed with them. I don't suspect OCAT's financing deal will end with such a positive market reaction.

I don't suspect OCAT's financing deal will end with such a positive market reaction. Congrats to all ADXS holders, and tend to agree. The below is what I posted on the OCAT thread... while there are some parallels to what could happen with OCAT's raise, the big differences are the dilutive amounts of each deal. ________________________ ADXS offers a good example of a company raising capital at a lower pps than it was currently trading, and the pps then taking off on the news because the financial uncertainty was removed. The ADXS transaction wasn't nearly as dilutive (5%) as what OCAT is contemplating (30%), but still a good example of what can happen when the market has that financial clarity.

ADXS is having a great pre-market this morning. Not bad after a recent capital raise.

Just because dilition wasn't as bad as folks were expecting this thing almost triples? Not sure I'm buying that one.

Just because dilition wasn't as bad as folks were expecting this thing almost triples? Not sure I'm buying that one. I think that is part of it. Also, even though it was done at a discount, the deal was completed with basically one buyer buying most of the shares with the intention to hold. Not like a Lincoln version of the term "buy and hold". The market cap for ADXS was so undervalued prior to this offering. Now that they bolstered their cash position, I think the market felt comfortable with the level of risk.

The question of how the future trials were going to be funded is now taken care of.
