I have seen other companies do this, is it really that much of a big deal? Don't all companies listed on Nasdaq ring the bell once??

But, often times when companies know they're going to ring the bell weeks/months in advance, they'll wait to release key news to align it with the ceremony when more eyes are on them.

So, probably the start of the P2B trial will be next tue/wed. and maybe a Pr about releasing data on 24/25

The thought actually did cross my mind that since July 7th is a Tuesday, maybe they purposefully shelved P2b news for the Monday before. My rebuttal to that though is, the new guidance is for first patient enrolled and not commencement. I guess if they already have a patient screened and UCSF has given them a date for the procedure ONCS could know about it. Just not sure how they could time so perfectly with Nasdaq. Would be nice news to announce prior to the bell ringing that's for sure.

I once was invested in a company that, after joining NASDAQ, announced they were ringing the opening bell and then on that day, the stock plummented. No guarantees.

They shafted their investors badly last year. My bad, it was Lightbridge and they rang the closing bell. Nuclear technology company and then years later after a steady decline, the Fukushima disaster really hurt them. I just have bad memories about them.

Well that was special Seriously, not bad. PD was definitely nervous (and so was the Nasdaq guy introducing him), but he got through the speech and gave a good synopsis of what ONCS is all about. Everyone was there. Dr. Pierce, Mai Le, even Uncle Avtar and they were very excited.
