Good news, but the price action is really disappointing. Market is maybe waiting for official approval by FDA and CE Mark for Europe? I think this news was already baked in. Agreed that the biggest news will be FDA and CE approval, plus the first report on how many machines they’ve shipped out. Could also get a bump when we find out where they “strategically” sent the first RUO machines.

From Stocktwits: “Demand for antibody testing is going to be absolutely enormous in the next couple of months,” said Mr Walt. “I think we are a trailblazer here, but I really hope that more than one of us is moving on this because even we do not have the capacity to meet demand. “There is a real shortage of supply of secondary reagents, biomarkers, specialised spare parts [for testing machines] and their components from China . . . supply chains are badly disrupted.” Can someone access this article? www.ft.com/content/4f33563e-cd97-4be5-8485-8c5523ab5d90

Holy crap! It’s the best antibody test on the market. Wow! Glad I added more on Friday. It’s going to be a crazy day tomorrow. Good luck to us all.

MosaiQ COVID-19 Antibody Microarray Performance
A summary of the final results for the MosaiQ COVID-19 Antibody Microarray are set out below: Pathogen
Sensitivity % 100% Specificity % 99.4% SARS-CoV-2
That’s how you clean up the Specificity. Of course I’m glad that I own the stock, but they are going to be a major player in the world defeating this *****ing virus.

Congrats guys! On fire these last few months. Wouldn't be surprised if this really rips tomorrow.

What’s everyone’s strategy for tomorrow? Personally, I feel like the best antibody test in the market is worth at least $20. I get to that number by assuming $400M x3 from the pre-COVID19 market cap. The multiple could easily be x4, but I’m going conservative.
That’s what I *believe* this news is worth, but what only matters is what the market believes. Just like the other corona stocks, I don’t think most are concerned about QTNT’s base business next year, or even how much revenue they’ll profit from a widely used very successful antibody test. They are just looking for the PR pump. So I’ll likely play it this way too. I’ll definitely be trading some tomorrow. Perhaps selling all if it is clearly over bought.

I wasn’t sure if they’d announce new data before announcing EU CE mark and FDA EUA approval. Approval from both regulatory groups is all but a forgone conclusion, so it could be baked into the action tomorrow. However, FDA approval come a bit later so could act as a separate event. We’ll have to see how things unfold tomorrow:
“I am very pleased with the exceptional results from our final study’s performance data. Our innovative MosaiQ technology delivered 100% sensitivity and 99.4% specificity, truly an outstanding performance. We are confident that we will CE mark for Europe including Switzerland and begin the FDA emergency use authorization process within a matter of days,” said Franz Walt, Chief Executive Officer of Quotient.

Not too wild pre-market. If it stays like this I'll likely hold through CE Mark and FDA approval.

Seems like a wild ride pre market. Thanks for the pick. New to the forum. Well done sir. Welcome to the forum. It has definitely jumped since AH yesterday, but I'm not sure it will cross $12. May even head back to $7. I have no problem being patient with this one.

@jham just look at Arcturus. I should not have sold this yesterday after the nice gain. It jumped even higher and it looks like it will continue it's run. I will not make this mistake again and will definitely hold Quotient.

In $7's now... is this profit taking I guess? I'm not in this one cause thought the covid news made me miss the boat but if it keeps selling off might be an opp sometime. Agree with you guys though bouncy but good long term hold.

I will not make this mistake again and will definitely hold Quotient. Wow, went all the way to $36. You didn’t sell at the top, but you didn’t lose money either, and even made a nice profit. I’m holding as well. The CE mark and FDA approvals should give it another boost (selling opportunity), but the more I think about the more I’ll likely hold. Very solid company, good management, CEO used to be head of diagnostics at Roche and is at the top of his field. The real party here is supposed to start next year, but if they can validate themselves with the COVID-19 microarray then who knows. If the pps suddenly goes on tear then my strategy is of course subject to change

I also believe that there is actually to much fast and stupid money going in and out of these Corona stocks. People buy blind without any idea at the start and when it goes down down a bit, they drop the shares with a loss. Simply because they have no idea. These guys bought it and thought it would climb immediately to $15. When all these traders are out, we could see a steady climb upwards, but who knows? Momentum is still positive and all your points, Jham, are very bullish for the company. But a little bit of patience seems to be required to make real profits and not just a few percentages.
Data speaks for itself. Further catalysts could help and potential announcements regarding contracts with governments could be huge for the stock. But we may have to wait until the corona trader plague has gone away?
Just some thoughts by me. Could be totally wrong on this:D

The corona stock formula is pretty easy to figure out, but it has definitely brought out some foolish traders. I’ve definitely played some of these stocks the last few weeks and probably will again. With QTNT and CPAH though I don’t mind holding while the idiots lose money 😅 It’s actually a good sign so far that QTNT isn’t in the red. Gives me some hope that some stronger hands besides the corona-traders have bought and are holding. We’ll see if it holds up the the EOD.
