Great article. 20 more machines by years end is great, but I wish there was a way they could outsource to other manufacturers to ramp up production. If it’s the gold standard test (which I believe it is), then there should be an all-hands-on-deck approach. Kind of like GM making ventilators. The UK better wake up or they are going to miss out.

30 machines would be 30M+ tests per year, which is great. I just watched an interview where the doc said if we are really going to beat this thing we’ll need millions and millions of tests per week. So it’s just my wishful thinking that QTNT can be an even bigger player.

Everyone is just on talking about the Roche test. Maybe a reason for this sell off? The demand should be definitely high enough for both Roche and Quotient.

Everyone these days is simply jumping to the latest corona stock. They’ll likely be back once there is FDA approval. Despite the potential for the company a year out from now, no one is thinking about that.

I’ll gladly add some more if this dips much lower.

There is a gap to fill around $7.50. I want to add around this $8 test but for me that is where I see the real opportunity. Agree with JHam though, great opportunity to add here soon.

Roche is getting all the news today, but give it a week or two and I think Quotient will be stealing the spotlight. FDA approval will get things rolling in my opinion.

No, unfortunately....I have money spread out like a roulette bet on these 19 bios!..small positions all..but my average is a net gain so far...I'm gonna hold this one for a bit tho, as my costs are around 6.50...See what FDA approval does.

I've been a long time watcher and member of this site, but it's been a while, like since the OCATA days, since I've posted anything. I always appreciate everyone's views here. So thank you for the site itself Jham, and to all the regular contributors. Quick question regarding the perceived usefulness of Quotient's antibody testing related specifically to COVID-19. If the scientific community is still not sure that people with COVID-19 antibodies have immunity to the disease, then what will be the motivation to pay for antibody testing in the kind of numbers to make this company highly profitable? I understand reasonably well how they will make money, I'm just trying to get a handle on what the demand may be. Certainly if it can be demonstrated conclusively that those with the antibodies are immune then that provides significant motivation for widespread testing, and I would assume Quotient would be a beneficiary of this elevated demand. Thank you for any thoughts you may be able to share or links to more information.

First, the only way to determine whether or not people have immunity is to form a baseline of those who have antibodies. That is what the MosaiQ (QTNT) test does. If having antibodies ultimately proves immunity, then that bodes well for QTNT in relation to COVID-19. If having bodies doesn’t prove immunity then it simply means that antibodies doesn’t give you immunity. Which has nothing to do with QTNT’s technology. Sure, they won’t get a pop from COVID-19, but it is still a validation for their technology. Remember, their core business ultimately targets a $40B market. COVID-19 represents the tip of the stem of the cherry on top of the cake. Although COVID-19 could be worth $300-500M in unexpected revenue, the real value here in my opinion, is that it speeds up the validation process of their core business.

Is the CE Mark specifically for the microassay that detects the Corona Antibodys or is it for the MosaiQ System generally?

Think QTNT found a bottom here $.60s from today and yesterday, also fills gap from April. We shall see though. Was hoping .40s.
