And the blog just out, to accompany it: www.quicklogic.com/2022/06/23/efpga-and-chiplet-technology-a-natural-combination/Chiplets (modular silicon “chips” mounted as die onto an interposer which interconnects them and attaches to a single package substrate) have been quietly but steadily taking market share from more traditional monolithic semiconductor devices. In fact, Transparency Market Research recently noted that “…the chiplet market is expected to exceed $47B by 2031, with a CAGR exceeding 40% annually.” That’s a lot of chiplets.

Another interesting piece of news that is potentially HUGE for QUIK. SkyWater received a $35M DoD grant for their 90nm rad hard process. This is important for QUIK because SkyWater uses QUIK's eFPGA to port their RH90. What is good for SkyWater is good for QUIK. SkyWater depends on QUIK's eFPGA for this platform. I also wonder if QUIK is in line for some funding down the road. This short blog is definitely worth the read: www.quicklogic.com/2022/07/14/update-on-skywaters-on-shore-foundry-for-rad-hard-semiconductors/

QUIK just crossed $9.00 and is currently sitting at $9.16. Up 115% off the year lows. Not sure how long it will stay above $9 given the current market climate. That said, if there is positive news on the CHIPS bill it could run even higher.

Its been over 1-1/2 years since its been at these numbers. I have a low cost entry from years back (6-29-2020) and don't figure on selling any time soon. Thanks JHam.

QUIK reported Q2 earnings yesterday. Pretty great. They broke even. Even better, they also announced a new eFPGA contract worth $7M. This is by far the biggest contract to date. Even better, Brian said (also right there in the PR) that it has the potential to grow into the $10s of millions over time. Even better, Brian also said on the call that their sales funnel and large design wins have now increased to approximately $100M!!! The only downside is that the launch of the new $7M contract product was pushed back a few months. Therefore they've had to soften guidance for Q3. He said that everything should kick in from Q4 and they'll start to recognize revenue from that contract over a 12 month period from that point. It would be hard to be more bullish on this company than I already have been, but this call reaffirmed my bullishness. Open-source eFPGA is being adopted. There is no turning back now. Thing should really get cooking from Q4 onward. Q3 could provide for a great buying opportunity if it dips due to the softer guidance: www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/quicklogic-reports-fiscal-2022-second-quarter-results-301606969.htmlQuickLogic Reports Fiscal 2022 Second Quarter Results Secured new eFPGA contract worth approximately $7 million, the largest to date, with the potential to increase to tens of millions of dollars
Recent Highlights On August 8, 2022, the Company signed an approximately $7 million customer contract. The Company's deliverables will be due over the course of twelve months. In addition, subject to completion of such deliverables and at the option of the customer, the total contract value could increase to tens of millions of dollars. Introduced the industry's first disaggregated eFPGA-enabled chiplet template solution, based on QuickLogic's Australis™ eFPGA IP Generator and chiplet interfaces from eTopus. SensiML deployed an endpoint AI-based vibration sensor to detect anomalies for vacuum pumps and chilling machines used in its manufacturing flow for a large multi-national manufacturer in Asia. Second Quarter Fiscal 2022 revenue increased approximately 58% from the same quarter a year ago. New product revenue up 148% from the same quarter a year ago.

Anyone still holding this one? I kept all of my shares bought back in 2020 and 2021 for <$4. Their last quarterly earnings (https://finance.yahoo.com/news/quicklogic-reports-third-quarter-fiscal-210500381.html) show revenue growth and they recently released new developer tools that should make it easier to get started.

$QUIK has been my best stock investment over the past 3 years, but I am not sure it can continue to maintain >$14 so I started selling some shares on Friday and got greedy trying to sell for $15 today and missed it by a penny. I still plan to keep most of my shares, but taking some profits.
Thanks to JHam and others for putting this company on my radar.
