Continuation from my above post. I don’t think OBLG is trying to target the retail market so much. Like families who do a Zoom call on Thanksgiving because they can’t meet in person. They want to add more businesses to their already large list of big clients, and expand the reach within that current client list to those remote employees who don’t have access to physical rooms. Here’s a list of companies that currently use Mezzanine that was included in their recent case study. It’s the whose who of big companies/organizations/universities, that include NASA, IBM, Siemens, Univ of Auburn, and even the DoD and FAA (so I think security is not an issue for govt agencies. Watch the bit on Univ of Auburn if you have a chance. I can’t think of a situation where they would want to switch to an upgraded WebEx from Mezzanine, especially if students will now be able to have remote access. Apps are coming in 22/23 as well which will expand their reach even more: www.oblong.com/customersI’m still getting my feet wet with the ins and outs of this sector. You have a lot more knowledge and experience than I do, so please correct me if I’m not quite getting at what you are saying.

I probably should have started a separate thread for OBLG, but we’ll keep the conversation here for now. Check out this survey recently done by Cisco: tech.hindustantimes.com/tech/news/90-of-employees-want-greater-ownership-and-choice-at-work-cisco-report-71607506038786.html90% Of employees want greater ownership and choice at work: Cisco reportThe survey showed that nearly 73% of employees want to keep hold of faster decision-making......For this to happen, nearly 82% of employees believe businesses need to provide the workforce with similar technology at home as in the office. In fact, 73% of employees agree that one of the big positives to come from lockdown is proof that employees don't need to be in the same room to collaborate effectively.
The survey also showed that employees believe 2021 budget priorities for their business should be investing in the technologies needed for remote work, bringing in technology to make the office a safer space from a health perspective, and improving cybersecurity.

So awesome. I disagree though, it’s not a shame that they haven’t made billions already, otherwise there’d be no reason for us to be interested in the stock Take a look at the next video that follows the one you posted, about “g-speak”. youtu.be/_UAAnG7oOjEAfter you’ve watched that, re-read this bit in their PR on their newly awarded patents and tell me it isn’t exactly what they are talking about: -Contactless, gestural control of immersive, spatial environments at distance
“We hear our customers and understand the unique demands of a post-pandemic workplace,” added Holst. “Oblong is uniquely positioned to design, develop, and deploy new collaboration tools that further enhance collaboration between remote teams beyond what Mezzanine provides today. The resulting platform enhancements will further improve team communication through ease of use, more efficient use of time, and novel modes of remote collaboration.”
Oblong intends to reveal specific advances in this area as early as Q1 2021.

There is a paradigm shift in the way companies are doing business imo...VPN....My wife is a buyer for large company, and has been working from home since March, and was told she can continue working this way until July. Commercial real estate has taken a hit, as more and more companies are opting to operate this way. Overhead is dramatically reduced (Electric, Insurance, Rent etc)..Plus, as in my wife's case they get another hour or so in productivity! My son is a Civil engineer, and has been working from home since march as well, except for occasional field surveys. With 5G rolling out, it will only increase imo.

Just added some more OBLG. Average is still $5.83. Glad that I could take advantage of this dip.

There's still money to be made here outside the box.

There are still zero shares available to borrow at IB. At some point, shortsellers will need to cover. What will happen then? Float is tight and any surge in buying activity leads to a a significant gain. For those with a good number of shares, hopefully it is similar to OTRK when they had very high short interest before the pps really popped, but if OBLG doesn't have any news soon, we might see shorts take back control. If this happens and the pps gets down around $6 again, I will take a much bigger stake. So do you think the dump today was shorts? I was hoping for a bit of a dip so I could add more. I want to see where this bottoms out, but definitely plan on adding soon.

I would love to know if the pre-pandemic new Mezzanine is the same as the one they’re about to rollout. Did the pandemic give them a whole new list of requests from customers on how to make it even better?:
“As businesses return to the workplace and develop new modes of hybrid collaboration, we expect the need for multi-share to increase significantly,” says Peter Holst, Oblong’s Chief Executive Officer. “Oblong defines multi-share as a mode of collaboration where distributed users simultaneously share, view, and work with multiple streams of content. Oblong’s Mezzanine™ is the leader in this space, with award-winning, technologically advanced offerings, and these patents further our leadership and define the pathway forward to improve upon and extend beyond the traditional conference room setting.”
Oblong’s updated patent portfolio further solidifies its stake in technologies, methods, and designs for remote collaboration. This strategic investment is aligned with an accelerated demand for next generation multi-share collaboration solutions in the pandemic and post-pandemic workplace. These include inventive approaches to high fidelity, synchronous software communication, user interface, and interaction, allowing the Company to build, maintain, and improve its products faster and more efficiently than its competitors.

About time this one gets it's own thread. I just moved any posts that only discussed OBLG from the Low float microcap runners thread to here, so that we can keep the detailed conversation in one place.

I think you'll have some more chances. I probably won't add any more unless it heads to the low $5s or under. We thought that about CLSK as well, right? But i also believe that we will see something below $5.50 at least. I hope so. Your belief was right

I'm not sure if someone posted this already, but that is from Webexone event, where Oblong participated: The video is available on demand on the Wenexone event page. So, the cloud solution for multi share is already "ready"... Can't be long away, until we get a PR about that.
