money.cnn.com/news/newsfeeds/articles/globenewswire/10116856.htmSold my entire Stem position for a profit of ~10%. No near term news event. Kolbert wrongly stated that they would be releasing their AMD data in Jan. The company states "By mid-2015 — final results from our Phase I/II trials" My takeaway is to take analysts comments with a handful (not just a pinch) of salt. In anticipate that this stock will only go down from here for the next few months.

No idea, but congrats for those of you holding! Wonder if their results leaked? Wasn't that supposed to be in Feb? Nope. The amd results are due mid year. The only other catalyst is the lawsuit outcome. But even on that front there isn't any update. BCLI rose last week for no apparent reason. I guess somebody is steadily accumulating a basket of stem stocks.

*** Yeah! I want to thank Bullard an his buddies. Averaged .96. ( Edited for language.) I don't think anybody cares if Bullard makes money for you. The problem many of us have with Bullard is that he lies and tries to manipulate stocks. Whether he makes money at it or not is irrelevant. Trying to cast doubt on Ocata's Phase I results doesn't make him prescient or a good stock picker. It makes him a liar. And his followers are simply hoping the lies work so they can make money off of them. A pretty pathetic bunch, imho.

Definitely disagree with that and don't think there is any evidence showing that he lied about anything. However, I am not interested in having this discussion again so I'll leave it at that. Let's try to stay on topic in this thread and if anyone just has to have that discussion please take it to off topic. Thanks!

Nice slide after the conference call. The pps is tanking because of no near term news and the looming cash crunch. Some of the highlights of the conference call are "So, now I’d like to turn to our plans for 2015. First, we plan to release top line results from both of our ongoing Phase I/II clinical trials in the middle of this year. As mentioned earlier, we initiated the Phase II Pathway Study in cervical spinal cord injury and plan to enroll 52 patients in a total of three cohorts."
The year end cash and cash equivalents is about $25 million. They burnt $34 million of cash in 2014. The burn rate is only going to be higher this year. That explains why the stock is tanking. I think this is a good bargain at any price under $1.05. I am watching this and will initiate a position shortly. The idea is to build up a decent size position before the results due by mid year.

Initiated a small position yesterday at $ 1.01 I am expecting this to slide further down and test the December lows. If that happens, I will double down.

Initiated a small position yesterday at $ 1.01 I am expecting this to slide further down and test the December lows. If that happens, I will double down. As per plan, I have doubled down. The milestone completion news also did not have any positive impact on the pps. The company is dangerously low on cash. The looming dilution is keeping the investors at bay. That explains the steady down trend. I am not overly worried about financing as I am hoping that the company avails of Lincoln Park financing along the lines of OCAT. The results are due to be announced mid June and I am preparing myself for it. Planning to add more if it slides down further.

Added some more to average down. Am currently in the red because I started accumulation early in .80s & .90s. Plan to sell the current lot if the price goes up in the $0.8 range

sold a part of my holdings today. Did not go up as per my expectation. Will buy back if the pps heads back into the .50s on lukewarm/disappointing spinal chord results.

Should help stabilize the pps and get it back closer to the .70 offering price over the next several days/weeks.
The thing I like about STEM right now - in addition to the low market cap and the fact that they recently completed the offering - is that they have another data release for Dry AMD coming at the end of June. Today's spinal results should set the floor at a higher level, and bring more interest to the stock in the weeks ahead before the late-June Dry AMD final results are announced. I expect those results to be positive as well.

Did I miss something or why did PPS go down here on the news? Odd! I didnt look into it, sure a reason. Not sure. Looked like a somewhat typical "sell the news" day. Lots of consolidation in the mid/low .60s over the past several weeks. I think it heads higher soon. Below is a note I sent to family and friends this afternoon. __________________________________ After a brief move higher, STEM was met with a "sell the news" reaction from the market. IMO, STEM will recover over the next 6 weeks before Dry AMD results are announced 6/24-6/26.
I'm still holding STEM as a hedge to ATHX, but did diversify my hedge position is STEM today by selling some STEM at .61 and buying ONCS at .245. ONCS is in the hot cancer immunotherapy space (like ADXS) and they just announced a 20:1 reverse split today, so the stock is getting punished. I see it as an opportunity... I like ONCS at anywhere below .27.
