What a surprise. Need to break through resistence at $1.23 as you posted prior, Tradeup. Next resistence level after that looks to be about $1.45.

Well, 2 days of trading/consolidating over the 50 day moving average. Not a bad thing.

OT: I had mentioned CYNAF earlier in this thread. As a follow up, they just reported very positive P2 top-line results. Should be fun today.

Not pleased with the STEM pps leading up to this investor conference. Might sell tomorrow morning prior to the webcast. Or maybe sell some today...

Not pleased with the STEM pps leading up to this investor conference. Might sell tomorrow morning prior to the webcast. Or maybe sell some today... I was expecting a little more of a run up as well, but it is holding around the 50 DMA, so I'm taking that as a positive. May see some increased buying pressure as we get into this afternoon, as the market will expect some positive PRs tonight or tomorrow AM. Market seems to be in "show me" mode.

I was close to getting in on STEM, but a couple of things in the past few months held me back; manager selling, the CIRM hire and the whistle blower.
I am a little disappointed with the pps though as I felt that a lot of OCAT's shareholders may have switched teams for the open day, taken a good profit, then bought OCAT for the uplist.

FYI, more current plan is to hold STEM into next week if we don't see any significant pop tomorrow on news. The company's goal tomorrow is to share new information with investors to get them interested in buying more of the stock. IMO, there could be a delayed reaction as some of the institutions they're targeting may not start to purchase shares immediately.

Have a bad feeling about the pump fest tomorrow. No one seems to give a crap about this event with the lack of buying and red on low volume. I will wait to see what tomorrow brings but probably exiting at some point tomorrow hopefully with a small profit.

Any positive news should generate a bit of a run. We'll see.

If today isn't good for STEM, they may be forced to RS or leave the NASDAQ.
If they go under a dollar, don't they have a week to sort their PPS out?

There are certainly rules about maintaining a certain pps... not sure how strict those rules are. On the conference today: I'm listening to it. Pretty impressive data / efficacy signs in the Phase 1 spinal cord trial. They had 2 very good patient testimonials where the patients talked about the recovery of some senatations after treatment. I expect STEM to issue some PRs on these updated results at some point. AMD update is next.

Do you still plan to hold jck, or are you thinking of lightening up at this point? Strange that this conference call has done nothing to move the needle.

Do you still plan to hold jck, or are you thinking of lightening up at this point? Strange that this conference call has done nothing to move the needle. Holding for now. I heard what I wanted to hear on the AMD update: - Phase 1 12 month follow-up results looked pretty good. Area of GA slowed in treated eye... area of GA about 70% less when comparing treated eye to untreated eyes, and that difference was maintained at 12 month follow-up. - Phase II Highlights: * Will be a 12 month Phase 2 trial. Pretty quick. (This was the main thing I was looking for confirmation on.) * 65 patients * Treating patients in earlier stage of disease progression. I expect to see some PRs on new spinal cord results, AMD results and plans for Phase 2. Q&A in process now - Institutional Investors are asking the questions. Jason Kolbert with Maxim (he's in the room), Cantor Fitzgerald analyst, others. I'm going to be a little patient with my position. Per my previous post yesterday, we could start seeing some PRs afterwards, perhaps some analyst upgrades, and some new institutional buying based on the very good results and the rather fast timeframe to get through Phase 2.

Some additional info via the Q&A: - Dry AMD trial will start 1st Qtr 2015. (OCAT is starting Phase 2 earlier than STEM.) - Dry AMD trial will be 12 months, but management said "full results" available by "end of 2017". (So, Phase 2 for OCAT and STEM for Dry AMD should both be ending at about the same time, even though STEMs 65 patient Phase 2 trial was stated to be 12 months in duraction. Looks like STEM is allowing for some contingency time in their Phase 2 where they may add additional patients based on interim Phase 2 results.)

Thanks for the thoughts tradeup and jck. I think I will hold unless this thing breaks $1.20 for now. Hopefully as jim noted there is a delayed reaction to this stock and we see some buying tomorrow and into next week.

I sold out of my position at a small loss. If this is the best this stock can do on good results it leaves a lot to be desired of.

Haha. It instantly broke $1.2 as I typed that. Still about even. I will see what tomorrow brings. Finger hovering over the sell trigger.
