My $6.70 bid sat there unfilled for quite a lot longer than I expected. My small position is now set. GLTA (but especially to me!)

IMO, when the pps creeps up into the $7 ish territory, it generates more selling pressure as people are locking in a 10% plus gain from where OCAT closed ($6.21) the day before the offering was announced. IMO, locking in those gains before the pricing is announced is not a bad move. Per some of my previous posts, my thought was that OCAT would be somewhat range-bound until the offering is announced... I think that's what's playing out. We should see a lot more volume after the offering price is disclosed. IMO, there will be a very solid rush of new buyers getting into the stock, which is a good thing for current holders. Started re-establishing a position in OCAT today. Bought 20% of my intended position at $6.60. Will continue to add in increments if it moves below $6.60. Otherwise, will wait for pricing PR and add afterwards. Glad to know you're getting on-board... Also found some spare change, and bought some more shares today at $6.65.

I too am waiting to jump in after the pricing on thursday. Is rhere a quiet period after an offering dictating that no prs can be released. I thought I saw january 12th as the end to a quiet.period posted somewhere. Also, what's the "position of strength" that this company has currently? Phase 2 starting? Big whoop. These guys better have a big time surprise up their sleeves or else this thing will.pump and dump in a blink.

Hey Hop - Based on other biotechs I've followed after a capital raise, there's usually a 2-3 day "offering period" after the pricing is announced. That's when the 3 banks doing the offering are transferring shares to the institutions. I've never seen any business related PRs issued during the "offering period" with those other companies I've followed, so I'm assuming the same will be true for OCAT. In terms of the position of strength, I don't think it really matters. There was a big sell-off after the Lancet news, so there's a lot of money on the sideline waiting to move back into OCAT after the offering is announced. The fact that warrants were not included in the preliminary prospectus is a very good sign, IMO. I see OCAT getting back into the $8-$10 range fairly easily in the weeks/months after the uplisting, especially with expectations of some type of non-core JV (platelets) building as we get near the 2nd Qtr 2015. A lot of the near-term pps movement will depend on the price of the offering, IMO. Hopefully PW closed a decent deal.

$8-$10 is where I think this thing will eventually settle if good news is promptly released, especially now with the threat of dilution in the rear view and the pressure of Lincoln no longer on this stock. I still think these guys had better have an ace up their sleeves or the euphoria of being on the nasdaq will wear off and the shorts will take it back down sub $8 if no position of strength. At the very least, I see a quick trade from offering price of ~$6 to a quick run up to $10 maybe? That would be nice...

Short data is in for today. Big drop in volume for the shories. Is that because they already have their position and are waiting? I wish I had the answer. I find it interesting that we break 7.00 and now we are getting a dump. Just looks like manipulation. I don't expect anything less , the whole market revolves around manipulation

OCAT should appear HERE very soon if they will indeed be listed on NASDAQ at time of offering pricing.

Some bigger volume activity going on right now. Maybe pricing is set or if not, anticipation of pricing on or close to the Dec. 11 guidance.

This stock is like "Whack-A-Mole"....I love it.

Nah, not worried about the trophy at all…that's good clean fun. More worried about my investment - and the things I actually do for a living (oil prices dropping is not a good thing for me professionally - but long story on that one.)
