Although its nice to have an up day, there is another gap now! They always seem to fill..... Agree, as every prior gap with ACTC/OCAT has closed.
But, we don't know when the gap will close (if this latest one does close).
Pending news (Lupus data, SPA, SMD start) could take it higher first before a retrace a little farther down the road. That said, I did sell a small amount this morning when it crossed $4.50 and was up over 7% with that new gap formed at the open. Will add more if the gap fills before news.
I really appreciate you letting us know when u trade, i think u have a good feel of this stock. Thanks!

For now, I'm still holding a good sized position looking for news over the next 1-3 weeks (Lupus data, SPA, SMD start) which hopefully gets us into that higher gap from $5.88 to $6.23. I'll be lightening up if a) we get into that pps range, or b) if those news items come and the pps doesn't react as I hope.
3 month chart still looks decent and shows uptrend in tact, IMO.

Along with the news you mentioned, isn't the JV for a non-core therapy supposed to be announced before the end of the month? Even if not a financial windfall, it will give us some direction and validity to previous guidance.

Is SPA off the table as we have enrolled the first patient in P2? I thought SPA is given before a P2 starts.

FYI: This was posted on iCell by MikeC
"Tufts Fistula (Crohn’s) Paper to be published in Regenerative Medicine October 1st
I attended Andrew Hoffman’s talk last night at Tufts Veterinary School on Regenerative Medicine.
During Q&A, I asked him the status of the autoimmune trials and when they might be published. He said that the paper on the fistula trial will be coming out in Regenerative Medicine on October 1st. Dr. Hoffman also said that he could not talk about other MSC trials because he is under a confidentiality agreement with Ocata. "

I am not as confident as others elsewhere that this paper alone moves the pps though. Not for more than half a day at least. Guess we will see, maybe it will come with some companion news.

Since safety has been achieved and a placebo is in place for P2 Dry AMD, is it possible that new participants will have both eyes treated with RPE transplantation? If so, then I would imagine efficacy will be HUGE. #Cure Another thought: What if P1 patients enroll for their untreated eye. That would be like winning the Super Bowl of ophthalmology.

I've wondered the same about treating both eyes. I think we should see the protocol on clinicaltrials.gov in the coming weeks.
I don't think they would re-treat P1 patients in P2

I don't think they would re-treat P1 patients in P2 This is still a safety trial, so treating phase 1 patients in phase 2 would mean if there was a long term severe issue with the cells, patients could lose both eyes at the worst outcome. As an extra control, treating just one eye means they get additional data to measure.

Uptrend intact and playing out. Setting up well for a move higher (hopefully into the $5.88-$6.23 gap) next week on news.
Good weekend all.

If we don't break above 5 I'll sell and buy back on the dip. Gotta take my profits when they show up.
