That seems to be what you and dayanand33 recall them saying. I don't remember them saying that, but it is probably just my bad memory failing me once again. Either way, glad to see that they are releasing this data and that it looks to follow pattern of interim data and is very positive: BrainStorm's CEO, Tony Fiorino, MD, PhD, stated, "We are very excited to share the final results of this study. Professor Karussis presented a very positive and well-received interim analysis of this study at the Joint Congress of European Neurology in June 2014, and the final results include data from several additional subjects and analyses conducted by our independent statisticians. The interim analysis of this study, and results of our prior phase 1/2 study, have shown that a single dose of NurOwn™ is safe and can provide clinically meaningful benefits to ALS patients, such as a reduction in the rate of progression, and in some patients, actual improvements in function. The final results will extend these findings and allow us to move forward with a presentation and publication strategy so that we may share these important data with our medical and scientific colleagues."

So what do you guys think? I know it sounds crazy, but at this point I am inclined to hold onto my core shares through this next capital raise/round of dilution. The thinking being, when they did their last raise on the back of positive trial news, the pps actually went up quite dramatically, with some strong institutions participating in the raise. While this raise will likely be much larger, now that they are on the Nasdaq (and will be publishing what is likely to be very strong data), I think it there is potential for it to be a positive event. Given Fiorino's reputation and career in the capital markets, I would not be surprised to see some nice institutional investment start to get interested.
FOLD raised $89M the other day and the pps went up. ADXS raised $17M last Friday and the pps has skyrocketed. Maybe BCLI won't react this way, but I think there is some evidence that it could. Especially if they lock up a couple million of that ice-bucket challenge money.

JHam, I went back into my notes from the November conference call they did and during the Q&A Tony mentioned releasing "top line" final results within a few weeks so I guess that is what is happening January 5th but he also mentioned releasing "full results" at a conference early next year. I am not certain exactly what the difference is and suspect we will hear all we need to know as investors on the first Monday of January.
I am averaged in over $4, having held through the lows of November and as of right now I plan to keep my current shares. After the 5th there aren't any immediate milestones I can put a date on but I expect we will hear progress on the P2 study along with more information on the parallel studies (cryopreserved cells and dose tolerance) in the first quarter of 2015. I admit that watching what has happened to ADXS over the past week has led me to be a bit bolder about holding through capital raises in the future but I might change my mind again at anytime..

Now I know what you guys are referring to! Fiorino mentioned that they would present the data at a conference in Q1 2015, but I didn't take that to mean that would be the first we'd hear of it. I have been under the impression that they would announce data, then present it at a conference after it was published (or simply released). One other immediate milestone is the announcement of the new indication, which I think could be a positive event for the pps if it is for Parkinson's or MS.

Not sure what is going on after hours, but it is at $3.50 now and was over $4 a bit ago.

Nice movement today on heavy volume. Way above the daily average two hours into the trading day.

Nice to see the volume up 5x the daily average, and to see it gain momentum right up until the closing bell. Closed at $3.63, but at $3.71 now after hours.

I like that they are waiting until the first Monday after the new year to announce data. It must be pretty good.

Already at the daily average an hour into trading. I wasn't sure if we'd see much action today with a shortened trading day on Christmas Eve, but not complaining.

I am a little surprised by the extent of this runup on what will likely be just a few details on previously released results. Hopefully it is investors who were waiting for news to get in but certainly there will be some profit taking if this run extends through next week.

Looking good this morning. I thought the runup topped out last Friday but it looks to have new legs this morning. I hope it maintains throughout the day but I still suspect there will be a sell off. I just don't expect anything really new on Monday but I do hope to be wrong.

I just don't expect anything really new on Monday but I do hope to be wrong. It really seems like someone(s)? is trying to do some accumulating over the past few days based on the size of the buys pre-market and big volume out of the gate. Maybe they are going to knock our socks off on the 5th.

After seeing how FOLD and ADXS responded after their offerings (and how BCLI reacted earlier this year), maybe they are going to announce financing that the market will respond favorably to.

4x the daily average volume in the first 25 minutes of trading. Crazy!

Check that. 5.5x the daily volume in the first 30 minutes, now up to $4.62.
