Nice close at high of day ($1.20) on heavy volume. STEM, BCLI and CYNAF all seem to have some momentum going. NVIV took off big time today. Yep! Hey and don't forget about my "baby", ONCS. She has been slowly on the rise the last few days

bought some STEM with my ACTC/Athx money i sold earlier today. Not holding long. Selling on or before the 20th of November when the investors conference is being held. Again I am not holding any shares, but if I were this would likely be my approach as well. Get in and get out, probably before the 20th if there is a run-up. I think Jckrdu has the right idea. A bump to $1.50 would make a handsome little profit from these levels. Good luck guys!

At this rate, it's hard to imagine not seeing STEM hit $1.40+ on or before Nov 20.

Nice move. Running higher on a surge of increasing volume. Three straight days of huge volume, and today looks like it'll be the highest.

Okay I joined the fun at 1.26. We should see some decent volume and hopefully some PR's next week.

Okay I joined the fun at 1.26. We should see some decent volume and hopefully some PR's next week. Market cap is around $85M at a $1.26 PPS. Market cap of $120M would be a PPS of about $1.80. (50% gain from current levels.) IMO, STEM can get to a $120M market cap with good data updates next week, and the disclosure of a Phase 2 AMD trial that's about 12 months in duration. That market cap would still be half of ACTC's... (OCAT).

Support at $1.20ish is holding. 3 month chart still looks decent for an overall upward trend. I added a little more at $1.21... but want to see confirmation that the $1.20s will hold before adding more.

Looks like we are setting up nicely for another leg up next week. GLTA. Agree Tradeup. Consolidation over $1.20 was good to see... 5 and 30 day charts still look like a general uptrend to me. Should be some good PRs and hopefully some additional buying pressure from the institutions after STEM discloses the data and their Phase 2 plans on the 20th. Last institutional raise was done at $1.77 ... I don't think anyone that bought into that raise will be selling. Hopefully they add a bit.

I was thinking this would have moved more today.
Is there much chance people are a little cautious after the last run up or is today what people are expecting?

I was thinking this would have moved more today. Is there much chance people are a little cautious after the last run up or is today what people are expecting? I don't think today's price action was as much about market expectations for next week as it was about short-term traders (unfamiliar with the company) moving out of the stock as it tests 50-day MA resistance (see chart). STEM has some good pump material in the hopper for Nov 20, rest assured.

I was thinking this would have moved more today. Is there much chance people are a little cautious after the last run up or is today what people are expecting? Pretty much expected after I saw the $800k asset sale, although I was hoping it would have run a little more today before pulling back. If you look at the 5-day chart you can see the general uptrend and the pullbacks that occur along the way. News of the asset sale to Takara (sp?) surfaced on a few news outlets before the open today, and the sale only netted $800k for STEM. I think there may have been a good bit of speculation yesterday that the $$$ could have been bigger, so that may have been driving some of the heavy volume yesterday. When news of only $800k surfaced, I'm sure some speculators sold. But overall, the consolidation over $1.20 tells me that interest/buying pressure is still out there (still a good volume day) in anticipation of the events next week, so I expect things to heat up a little more next week as we get closer to Thursday. A big part of this move IMO is that its just oversold. With some additional good data from 2 trials, and Phase 2 trial design / protocol details coming in a few days... it's not a bad move. Investors may start to realize that STEM will likley have a decent lead (maybe as much as 6 months) in completing Phase 2 Dry AMD trials. Even if their solution may not be as effective as OCAT's, getting to market first means something. We'll see what the market thinks next week. I'm not expecting fireworks, but any move close to $1.50 would be very nice.

Interesting nuggets of information in this report: (pg 27) Dry AMD: According to the National Eye Institute (part of the NIH), 1.8M people in the U.S. have advanced AMD with two-thirds having the “wet” form and one-third having the advanced “dry” form (which then progresses to “wet”). Therefore, we believe the initial addressable population will be the 600,000 advanced dry AMD patients. For Dry AMD, we use comparable pricing from Lucentis® (ranibizumab) and Eylea® (aflibercept) for Wet AMD approximately $1,800 per injection with an average of 8 injections per year for 8 years or $115,000. Since treatm ent with HuCNS-SC could be a once a life time treatment, we expect StemCells Inc. could conceivably charge a premium up to $150,000.
