Congratulations to all Ocata shareholders that claimed arbitration. I received a certified letter today from the Covington law firm stating they are paying the original $8.50 merger consideration, and ...wait for it....an additional $8.75 a share for a total of $17.25 per share.

No way! Patience pays off most of the time, if you're on the right side of history. Congrats.

Congrats IAV, Kukkido and all others who held out. The arbitration result also shows that the Ocata Management and BOD could have done way better at negotiations and did not did not represent the interests of the shareholders professionally.

Congats
is the $17.25 per share the court decision?
If not, could it be more ?

It is an offer from the company. Based on the current state of stem cells in general and the lack of information from Astellas, I believe it is a valid offer.

Thanks. SCRMI was a joint venture formed by ACT and CHA. SCRMI's website still exists... www.steminternational.comBTW, I found this related recording of Robert Lanza at ACT's annual shareholder's meeting on 4.26.12:
